An independent cost/benefit study into bridges solutions with pedestrian and bicycle access to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands and North Stradbroke Island.

Such a study should include all ancillary works and benefits both on the mainland and the islands, including a bridge to North Stradbroke Island via Russell Island.

Rocky Point on south-western Russell Island approx. 3 kilometres to a point somewhere on the northern bank of the Logan River is one option to be developed.

Island paradise waiting to be discovered!

The Southern Moreton Bay Islands are rapidly growing. More and more people discover the natural beauty, relaxed and friendly lifestyle and potential for (eco) tourism and business of the islands. And all this in close proximity to Brisbane and the Gold Coast!

Property and land are still affordable and a good investment. This means the building industry is booming and new houses and businesses are popping up everywhere.
